Position
We are currently searching for an experienced Asphalt Equipment Operator to join our team ofhardworking and dedicated employees.
Requirements
Must be self-motivated, determined, and hard-working
2 yrs. of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator on several pieces of equipment; motor grader, asphalt paver, roller, dozer, excavator, backhoe, and front-end loader
Must have a minimum of 1 yr. experience in construction
Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
Must be able to take direction from Foreman and work with others on the crew
High school diploma or GED. Able to read and write. Able to perform simple math equations
Must pass a drug screen, background check, and have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be able to come to work every day and put in a full day's work
Must have a Valid TWIC card & Basic Plus Required
Job Duties
Ensure the safety of other employees and the public; comply with all safety initiatives, protocols, and procedures
Operate equipment proficiently based on instructions from Foreman
Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment
Performing other duties on the job when not operating equipment
Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull 75 pounds
